12-Volt Electric Speed Control
This automatic control mounts underhood and maintains correct engine speed while the compressor
operates. It returns the engine to idle when the compressor clutch is disengaged, insuring maximum fuel efficiency.
Load Sensing Electronic Throttle Control
More and more auto and truck manufacturers are using full electronic control on their engines. Which means the throttle
up mode must be accomplished electronically. Stellar is now offering the newest Electronic Throttle Control on the market
today. The Stellar Throttle Control is designed specifically for the diesel and gas engines and will not affect the integrity
of the EEC system.
This solid state device can be remotely triggered with a 12 VDC(+) source and adjusts from idle to approximately 3000
RPM when energized. This RPM adjustment is done at the module and will bring the engine to a preset RPM each time it is energized.
When the signal drops to 0 VDC, the unit is in its normal state and the engine returns to idle.
The STellar E.T.C. is easily installed under dash and uses two separate safety circuits to eliminate the possibility
of a false throttle up condition. Without seeing emergency brake, PTO or clutch pump on, and accessory (compressor or crane)
on, the E.T.S. will not activate. In the case of module failure, the unit can be unplugged and the original circuitry reconnected
in a matter of minutes.
